The European Golf Masters of Crans-Montana, the Athletissima meeting of Lausanne, the Allianz Suisse Open Gstaad (tennis), the Escalade de Genève (Switzerland’s most important popular race) or, additionally, the Eurofoot 2008 are breaks in an unlimited offer of sports and tourism.

The Jura range and part of the Valais welcome ramblers and cross-country skiing enthusiasts. The Jura is the land of horses par excellence. The Alps of course offer everything mountain climbers and ski lovers care for, family resorts and lands with hundreds of kilometres of runs. The lakes lend themselves to all water sports. The region in general has many golf greens, athletics stadiums or sports grounds (foot, volley, tennis, etc.) located in the plains or in the mountains.
