LAKE GENEVA REGION accommodates high-tech competences in matters of basic and applied research. In this fields, the region preserves the links that exist between the Swiss and international entities, notably in teaching matters, thus assuring rich and fertile exchanges. In the cantonal universities, in the Federal Poly-technical Institution of Lausanne (EPFL) and in multiple other centres or laboratories of LAKE GENEVA REGION, the fields of research are vast.
